池塘...
一般来说,大公司注重发展潜力,小公司注重实际技能。同时,小公司更注重效率和回报,一般不会长时间地等待一个人的成长,所以喜欢招收有经验、能很快上手的人。而大公司喜欢把你培养成为和他们风格一样的人,为此,他们愿意付出很多。
但是,由于大公司组织庞大,繁文缛节比较多,运作不如小公司灵活。新进员工必须从最底层的工作岗位做起,竞争对手众多且都具有良好的教育背景,所以,想在其中脱颖而出很难。大公司分工又过于细致,工作时间一长可能会感到单调,同时也不利于对整个领域技术的全面掌握。而且有被裁员的可能。
而小公司最直接的好处是参与公司从小到大的创业过程,能奠定个人事业和经济基础。由于小公司人员少,升迁机会大,甚至你有可能一开始就被委以重任。在小公司里,你的一切都是有价值的且是必须的,不会被视为“附属品”。可能薪水会稍低一些,但更具挑战性。公司期望每个职员都竭尽其能,因此你将能接触到如何运作一个企业的全过程。

这一年来的挫折感与无力感,重重的打击了我的自信心。
一直以来,对自己的认识;突然之间,变得如此陌生。
所坚持的信念,也在怀疑挣扎之间,逐渐瓦解。
然后有一天,觉得自己什么都不是...
也许就在这样的心情,被文中的一字一句打动。
莫名的悸动,闪过心头...

Personality...
The psychology test on personality type shows that I am an Innovator.
The four aspects that make up this personality type are:
As a summary, the Innovator is:
- Energetic and creative taking inspiration from everyone they meet
- Enjoy flexible work environments with few rules and many opportunities
for fun (Bingo!! But where to find such a wonderful place??)
- Think of themselves as imaginative, sociable and sympathetic
- May not think logically about their ideas
Innovators are fun-loving, creative, sensitive people who enjoy developing their ideas by discussing them with others. (Reason why I'm such a talkative??) This group supports the people around them and expects the same in return. Others are drawn to Innovators because of their love of life, caring nature and openness.
Innovators are good at spotting opportunities and recognizing potential in people. (Spotting but does not mean brave enough to grab it...) Innovators put all their energy into new projects and their enthusiasm motivates others to support their plans.
In situations where they can’t use their talents or are unappreciated, Innovators may become rebellious and unfocused. (When I started to dwell for holidays or resignation...) Under extreme stress, Innovators may become preoccupied with meaningless details.
Innovators may over-extend themselves or put a night out with friends ahead of more pressing commitments.

原点...
「人有時候是要出去走一段路再回來,才會知道自己真正想要的是什麼。」
「但是,是不是真的要走那麼遠的路才知道自己需要什麼呢?」
每一個媽媽,也許都希望自己的孩子所走的是一條平坦而幸福的路。然而,所謂的幸福,是沒有經過風吹雨打,沒嘗過痛苦和挫敗,沒有對自己和別人失望過,沒有懷疑過活著的價值和意義;還是經歷過這一切,終於認識自己,終於願意面對自己,知道自己想要什麼?
每個人的幸福也不一樣,你的幸福不等於就是我的幸福,我們所追尋和認定的幸福也不是永遠不變的。
一個人走了那麼迂迴漫長的路,又回到原點,但是,他已經不再是原本那個青澀無知的人了,永遠也不會是。

Aiming...
When Roberto Goizueta took over as CEO of Coca-Cola in the 1980s, he was faced with intense competition from Pepsi that was eating into Coke's growth. His executives were Pepsi-focused and intent on increasing market share 0.1 per cent a time.
Roberto decided to stop competing against Pepsi and instead compete against the situation of 0.1 per cent growth.
He asked his executives what was the average fluid intake of an American per day? The answer was 14 ounces. What was Coke's share of that? Two ounces. Roberto said Coke needed a larger share of that market. The competition wasn't Pepsi. It was the water, tea, coffee, milk and fruit juices that went into the remaining 12 ounces. The public should reach for a Coke whenever they felt like drinking something.
To this end, Coke put up vending machines at every street corner. Sales took a quantum jump and Pepsi has never quite caught up since.

可是,今天却学到了一个更加事半功倍的方法。
先认清敌人,再来个一击既中,比单纯的 aiming high 来得有效。
所以说:aiming high,还不如 aiming right。

有一個老掉牙的石匠寓言說明如何才是“管理者”。
當三個石匠在被問所做為啥時。
第一個邊鑿石頭邊回答說:“我在養家糊口”,語氣無奈。
第二個說:“我在雕塑”,沾沾自喜。
第三個石匠仰望天空,自信的說:“我在參與偉大教堂的建造”。
彼得‧杜拉克書中的經典問句:
1. 我們的事業是什麼?
2. 我們的事業將是什麼?
3. 我們的事業應該是什麼?
(據說,Wal-mart已疏於練習回答,而星巴克在回答時遇到了大麻煩)

感觉很沉闷的一本书,并没有让我去找的冲动。
只是我们的确该问问自己:
1. 你真正想做的是什麼?
2. 你為什麼要去做?
3. 你現在正在做些什麼?

愿我们早日找着属于自己的方向,属于自己的幸福...
